“Instead of your shame there shall be a double portion; instead of dishonor they shall rejoice … therefore in their land they shall possess a double portion; they shall have everlasting joy.” (Isaiah 61:7 ESV) The Lord is bringing deeper inner healing and a double portion of joy and blessing.

As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, one of the greatest gifts we have from God is the ability to shine. Maybe the shine we have is not always visible in the physical realm, but it is in us, trying to radiate out of us. I have no doubt the light can be seen in the spirit realm. Forces of darkness recognize it and sometimes people who hunger after spiritual things are drawn to it, maybe without knowing what it is. I urge you today to remove every “cover” that may hide your light. These covers come in the form of unbelief, shame, sinful conduct or unforgiveness. These take away your and my ability to shine for Jesus! Matthew 5:14-16 (TPT) “Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light. So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”
