YOU HAVE NOT LOST YOUR WAY.

I’m just taking you on a different route;
A new trajectory, an unmapped journey.
You had everything all planned out.
But I have my own blueprint for your future.
Where our plans deviate, I have reoriented you towards my greater purpose.
The road is unfamiliar.
The territory is rugged.
The turns are unpredictable.
But the destination is stunning.
I know you’ve been praying for breakthrough.
I understand that you’re weary.
I’ve seen your disappointment and confusion.
I’ve heard your sighs, your frustration, your longing for clarity.
If you could only see what I see, your perspective would shift;
Your countenance would lift;
Your expectation would rise;
Your heart would be full again.
Some journeys take longer than you anticipated - not because you’ve done anything wrong - but because the next place is so completely different and new.
You had become so bored with ‘same old’.
That’s why I’m taking you on this unpredictable path.
At times it feels as if you’re travelling alone.
But others are on their way - from different regions and places.
You all look different on the outside - but your spirits are the same - passionate, pure, wild, free, fearless, faith-filled, longing for more.
This process that you have been in has been hard to make sense of. It’s been difficult to discern the way through. It seems never ending.
That’s because there are processes within the process, steps in every stage, wheels within wheels.
Everything is intentional.
None of it is wasted or pointless.
You may not see it, but you are advancing.
Even though life often feels stationary, you’re still pressing forward, taking ground, moving beyond old boundary lines and borders.
Pause, if you need to. Rest for a moment, but don’t give up.
Recognise just how far you’ve come.
You’re not where you were.
You’re not who you were.
You have deeper devotion, stronger foundations, a broader vision, a bigger heart.
There will be more twists and turns, uphill slogs and uneven surfaces.
But step by step, you will climb with steadiness and sureness.
The narrow road will open up into a broader space.
The finish line will come into view.
The way will be clear.
Lift up your head. Look at me.
It will all soon make sense.
The pieces will fall into place.
You’ll be amazed at what I have done. By how far you’ve come.
I know you’re not sure how much more you can give.
But keep going.
With every step…
…I will restore your joy.
…I will renew your strength.
…I will replenish your energy.
…I will refuel your fire.
You may not be sure where you are right now, but I want you to know…
YOU HAVE NOT LOST YOUR WAY.

Proverbs 4:12
When you walk, your steps will not be hampered;
when you run, you will not stumble.
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in a person's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

Isaiah 42:16
….along unfamiliar paths I will guide them;
I will turn the darkness into light before them
and make the rough places smooth.
These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.

Psalm 23:3
…he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake.
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
