四月春雨：“求雨”

APRIL SHOWERS: “ASK FOR THE RAIN”

Prophetic word released March 26, 2022:
This morning I was thinking about an old phrase that we are all familiar with, “April showers bring May flowers." The Holy Spirit then quickened this scripture to me from Zechariah 10:1: “Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone."
Then I heard the Lord say: April is going to be the beginning of "springtime and harvest" and our barren season is coming to an end. We will begin to see the harvest of all the seeds that we’ve sown. For those of us who have stood our ground in prayer, we will begin to see a transition in our government. We will see salvation and deliverance in our families. We will see a transformation in the lives of our friends and the prodigals who have gone astray.
Those of us who sowed in tears and in famine are about to see the fruit of our labor. Those of us who decreed and declared victory over our nation will see a breakthrough in the near future as we stay steadfast and intercede without ceasing. As we continue to contend for our territory, we will surely regain ground. The seeds that were planted are about to sprout up. The fragrance of a new season is in the air.
If our spiritual eyes were opened we would see that the fields are white for harvest. Although we are in a season where everything that could be shaken is being shaken, there is another storm brewing and an awakening about to take place. A great deluge is on the way. There is a small cloud on the horizon which is about to usher in the latter rain.
In 1 Kings 18:41 the prophet Elijah told Ahab that there is a sound of an abundance of rain. He then prayed and sent his servant to go and look towards the sea. The servant didn’t see anything, so Elijah told him seven times to go back. He then returned and told Elijah that he saw a small cloud rise out of the sea, as a man’s hand. This was a sign that the rain was coming. Then it came to pass that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain.
Jesus wants to open the eyes of His servants to see that which is coming. He is sending an abundance of rain, the latter and the former rain. When you see the dense clouds rolling in, it is an indication that this rain is approaching. When you see the sky getting darker, you will know that a torrential downpour of His glory is on the way.
As I just finished writing this word, I heard the sound of heavy rain. I looked out my window and saw that we were having a downpour. The Lord is confirming His word.
"Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, 'There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!' So he said, 'Go up, say to Ahab, "Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you."' Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain." (1 Kings 18:44-45a)
"The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth. The budding vines of new life are now blooming everywhere. The fragrance of their flowers whispers, 'There is change in the air.' Arise, my love, my beautiful companion, and run with me to the higher place. For now is the time to arise and come away with me." (Song of Songs 2:11-13 TPT)
