Many times in the Psalms, the word “Selah” is mentioned. The word denotes a focused point of reflection to pause, be silent and consider what was written in the verses beforehand. Pause and think about the specific words I am speaking to you. My desire is for you to respond with a hearty yes through obedience to what I am saying to you. Do your best not to have thoughtless kneejerk reactions. Rather pause and act accordingly. Job 37:14 (VOICE) “Hear this, Job. Pause where you are, and ponder the wonders of God.”
