First 10 electric buses began operating on the streets of Jerusalem on Wednesday, all the electric buses are manufactured by Chinese BYD group, operated by Egged group,15 bus line from the Central Bus Station to Talpiot.

Largest solar power plant inaugurated

A vast thermo-solar power plant Ashalim in the Negev, was inaugurated on Thursday. The $1.32 Billion 121 Megawatt solar power on 390 hectares, will supply electricity to 70,000 households. The plant will reduce 245,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalents to taking 50,000 vehicles off the road.
