哦，上帝憐憫我們！

“謝謝你，川普。同性婚姻......”

*我們濫用權力並稱其為政治；
*我們貪污公款，稱為必要開支；
*我們有機構性的賄賂行為，稱為辦公室甜食；
*我們貪求鄰居的財產，稱為雄心；
*我們用褻瀆和色情污染了風氣，並呼籲它表達的自由；
*我們嘲笑了我們祖先的悠久榮譽，並稱之為啟蒙。

鑒察我們，哦，上帝，認識我們的心；潔淨我們的每一項罪，釋放我們得以自由。阿們！”

反應很快，許多立法者在禱告期間走出來抗議。
在短短的6個星期裡，賴特牧師牧養的中央基督教堂收到了超過5000通電話，其中只有47個電話是負面的。現在教會接到索取祈禱文副本的請求，來自世界各地：印度、非洲和韓國等。
願在上帝的幫助下，這祈禱能橫掃我們的國家，並且全心全意地成為我們所求，讓我們再次可以被稱為是“屬神的一個國家”。

This interesting prayer was given in Kansas, USA, at the opening session of their Senate. Itseems prayer still upsets some people.When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities,but this is what they heard:"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says: "Woe to those who call evil good", but that is exactly what we have done.

* We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.
* We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism.
* We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism.
* We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle.
* We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.
* We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.
* We have killed our unborn and called it choice.
* We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.
* We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem.
* We have abused power and called it politics.
* We have embezzled public funds and called it essential expenses.
* We have insitutionalised bribery and called it sweets of office.
* We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition.
*We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.
* We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh GOD, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free. Amen!"

The response was immediate.
A number of legislators walked out during the prayer in protest.
In 6 short weeks, Central Christian Church, where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than 5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those callsresponding negatively.
The church is now receiving international requests for copies ofthis prayer from India, Africa and Korea.
With the LORD'S help, may this prayer sweep over our nation and WHOLEHEARTEDLY become our desire so that we again can becalled "ONE NATION UNDER GOD."
