"The Time of Laboring is Over – It's Time to Give Birth"

A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. John 16:21 NIV

Recently I kept hearing the Lord say, "This is a birthing season." For many of you, your ninth month is upon you and you are about to birth something great. I don't believe this is just a vision being birthed; I believe this is the fruit of that vision being birthed. You've gone through a season of spiritual pregnancy; you've had your time of laboring; now it's time to give birth.

Now, don't get hung up on the nine months of a natural birth. This season you've been in may have lasted longer than nine months or less than nine months; it's just a figure of speech to give you a picture of what you've been going through and what you're stepping into.

Much like a natural birth, when you first have a vision of something specific that God has for your life, it's exciting. You tell all of your family and your friends, you constantly think about that vision. After a few months, the excitement is still there but you begin to get uncomfortable. You're excited, but you really don't want to go through the whole process to have this "baby."

The closer it gets to the end the more uncomfortable it gets, the more anxious you get, and you just want to have this baby! Then comes the time to give birth, the labor process, the pain, but you keep going because you know that the reward far outweighs anything you have to go through. (Photo via Pixabay)

This is where you're at. You've birthed a vision; you've experienced the excitement of what is to come. You've gone through times of being uncomfortable, trying to adjust to this spiritual "baby" that God is forming within your spirit. You're in a season of laboring, you've felt some pain, and you've experienced some struggles. There have been times when you wanted to give up, but you can't; you know you can't give up because the reward on the other side of this is much greater than you what you've been going through.

This is the word of the Lord to you now, "The time of laboring is over, and it's time to give birth." You're about to step into your calling just like you have dreamed about.

Stop Mourning! Your Vision is Not Aborted Nor Dead!

For some of you, you've thought about aborting that vision that God placed inside of you many years ago. You gave up on it, you wrote it off as dead, but what you thought was aborted was not. God is re-igniting your vision again.

Soon afterward Jesus went with His disciples to the village of Nain, and a large crowd followed Him. A funeral procession was coming out as He approached the village gate. The young man who had died was a widow's only son, and a large crowd from the village was with her. When the Lord saw her, His heart overflowed with compassion. "Don't cry!" He said. Then He walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. "Young man," He said, "I tell you, get up." Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! And Jesus gave him back to his mother. Luke 7:11-15 NLT

This is what the Lord spoke to me immediately after reading this passage: "For some of you reading this, the devil has organized a funeral procession for your dreams, but God is saying to your dreams,'Get up!' Don't listen to the lies satan throws your way. You were born for such a time as this. Dreams are being awakened and brought back to life this year!" (Photo via Pixabay)

Back during the time of this passage, professional mourners would actually be hired to mourn the dead. Satan has hired and commissioned his demons to be professional mourners over your dreams and visions, but it's time for the mourning to end. It is not too late for you; it's time for you to dream again! God is re-igniting your passion again!

Things are about to get a little easier for you; no longer will you labor like you have been, you're giving birth to those dreams you've been dreaming!
